Dive In
I build things at the intersection of capital markets and creative chaos. I believe the best ideas come from the same place the biggest waves do — deep beneath the surface, where pressure creates clarity and the noise of the world above finally goes silent.

From the
Trading Floor
to the Ocean Floor

Most people see markets and nature as opposing forces. I see them as the same thing — complex adaptive systems where pattern recognition is survival and intuition is earned, not given.

I started on trading floors where milliseconds meant millions. I left to help build companies that move at the speed of conviction. Now I operate from San Diego, where the Pacific reminds me daily that the most powerful forces on earth don't rush — they surge.

The best trade I ever made was choosing to build instead of bet.

Buyside
Design

buysidedesign.com

Thirteen years deep in design for the finance world. Where aesthetics meet alpha generation. I saw an industry drowning in bland pitch decks and templated tear sheets, and decided it was time to bring real creative firepower to the buy side.

Thirteen years, thousands of deliverables, one conviction: in a world where attention is the scarcest asset, design isn't decoration — it's edge.

Marine Life

Whales

Hours spent watching humpbacks navigate the deep off the San Diego coast. Patience and power — they know what real conviction looks like.

🌱
Growth

Gardening

The original long-term investment. You plant, you nurture, you wait. No leverage, no shortcuts — just compound growth in the most literal sense.

🌊
Home Base

San Diego

Markets open at 6:30am, dolphins by noon. Sun, salt air, and zero excuses not to build. There is absolutely no better operating base on earth.

🐕
Loyalty

My Dog

The only being I trust with portfolio calls. Unfailing instincts, zero screen time, and a better sense of risk than most PMs I have ever met.

🌍
Legacy

The Planet

Capital can be a weapon or a shield and I choose shield. Every venture has to leave this place better than I found it, or it doesn't get built.

Freedom

The Water

The ocean is the greatest teacher of risk I have ever known. Respect it or it humbles you fast. Same exact energy as a volatile Monday open.
